Being a brand ambassador is not easy, you must be able to match with the targeted audience and embody the brand’s identity and values. Here is a list of 11 Korean actors and singers who have been able to secure being a brand ambassador for renowned and famous luxury brands.

1. Fendi X Jackson Wang (GOT7)

Jackson Wang is a current member of the JYP band GOT 7. He is a trilingual Hong Kongese rapper, due to his global nature he has been able to excel in different markets. He is now a brand ambassador for China. He has performed his song ‘Fendiman’ in the Fendi Fall/Winter 2019 show. Under Fendi’s online website, you can find editorials, stories and other news on his ‘Fendiman’ performances. On July 22nd he launched his 1st velvet collection with Fendi, which he designed. Jackson is currently fulfilling his GOT7 duties in the GOT7 2019 World Tour.

2. Fendi X Ji soo 

The handsome actor Kim Ji soo is a spokesperson for the luxury brand Fendi. As tall as 1.86 meters he could be a model in the runway himself. He was seen at the Fall/Winter 2020 Fendi men show along Jackson Wang and other celebrities. Kim Ji soo is known for his roles in dramas. His latest drama is Netflix’s ‘My First First Love’, where you can see his charm through the screen. 

3. Chanel X Jennie Kim (Black Pink)

Chanel has chosen Jennie Kim, as house ambassador in 2018. She is a member of the famous girl group “Black Pink”. She became the ambassador of the brand as she truly supports and loves the style and clothing. In 2018 she was the ambassador for the Chanel fragrance Les Eaux de Chanel Paris-Biarritz.  Last month she attended the ‘Chanel In the Snow Show’ for the Fall Winter 2020 collection in Paris. She just finished her world tour activities with Black Pink, we cannot wait to see her back on stage though. 

4. Piaget X Kong Hyo-Jin

Piaget is a luxury jewelry brand, specialized in watches and has a line of jewelry and high jewelry. They have chosen the Korean actress Kong Hyo Jin as one of the 2019 campaign faces. Hyo-Jin is a Korean actress with numerous television series and movies. She can play diverse characters with ease. Her latest released movie is “Hit and Runn Squad, and she has an upcoming movie coming up called “The Most Ordinary Romance”, we are so excited to watch her new character. 

5. Louis Vuitton Men X Mino (Winner)

Winner’s rapper Mino was a runway model for LV Summer/Spring 2020 show in Paris. Last month he was featured in the new Fall/Winter 2019 collection for Louis Vuitton Men’s sunglasses campaign. Mino is a rapper for the boyband WINNER. He is also a songwriter, producer and model. He can be seen doing different activities from art, song writing, producing, stage shows. He is a well-rounded artist, let see what’s more to come. 

6. Burberry X Yoo Ah-in

Burberry appointed the actor Yoo Ah-In (stage name) as an official brand ambassador. Uhm Hong Sik was invited to Cannes due to his performance in the movie “Burning”. He not only has great presence in the screen, but we can also see his charm during the Burberry Spring Summer 2019 celebration. The actor has various movies to launch this year and next year, we wonder what characters he will show each time. 

7. Longines X Jung Woo Sung 

Longines is known for its high-end luxury watches. Jun Woo Sung is listed as one of Longines ambassador of Elegance. He has captured the heart of the luxury brand by his modeling, acting, directing and producing career as well as his philanthropy. This dreamy actor last project was the movie Innocent Witness which landed him the Grand Prize at the 55th Baeksang Arts Awards.

8. Bvlgari X Kris Wu 

Kris Wu is an international brand ambassador for the luxury brand. He was the main model for the collection B. zero 1 Bvlgary. He has been a brand ambassador for the brand since March 2016. He has introduced various campaign like the Octo Finissimo watch. He is Chinese/Canadian singer, actor and model. Kris Wu is a former member of EXO. He has been able to excel in his career as a solo artist, more so in the acting scene. He has great looks and can blend in with runway models. He is currently working in his next movie, ‘Blossoms’ by Chinese film director Wong Kar-Wai.

9. Valentino x Lay Zhang (EXO)

Lay Zhang became the Valentino ambassador for the Greater China region since 2017. The global superstar keeps being the ambassador after a few years. he was spotted recently in the r Valentino’s 2019 Spring and summer men fashion show. He can also be found wearing the new line from Valentino in his Instagram or wearing the brand head to toe for the Met Gala. Lay Zhang is part of the global group EXO. Even though he is holding solo activities in China he is still part of the group. As a solo artist he has been able to excel and show that he is not only a great dancer but also an amazing composer and holder of a sweet and complex voice. He also has a career as an actor, and he has also gained recognition in that scene. You can see him in his latest drama “The Golden Eyes”. 

10. Gucci X Kai (EXO)

Kim Jong-in is the brand ambassador in Korea for the luxury brand. He was seen at the event for the ‘Gucci Zumi’ collection. Kim Jong-in or Kai is a member of the global boy group EXO signed under SM entertainment. Kai is known for his amazing dance moves and style. He has attended various Gucci shows, the most resent one the Gucci Cruise 2020. He is not only a rapper, great dancer, and model but also an actor. He is not only a great dancer but also a model and being a Gucci ambassador goes perfectly with his visuals. 

11. Yves Saint Laurent x Hyun Ah

Hyuna (Kim Hyun Ah) is the face of the “Endanger Me Red” lipstick May 2019 campaign. This is a collaboration between YSL and Vogue Korea. The collection consists of limited-edition red lipsticks, from orange-red liquid mattes to deep-red bullet lipsticks. Hyuna recently signed with her new agency Pnation, and it seems that she is preparing for a comeback. She recently performed at the 2019 Water Bomb Festival. We are sure Hyuna’s comeback will be worth the wait.
