K-pop has become a global phenomenon. Western artists have been collaborating with K-pop celebrities and releasing songs that mix and create global music hits. The next list are the hottest K-pop collaborations with western artists of the summer.  

Ava Max & NCT 127 ‘So am I’

Ava Max better known for her single ‘Sweet but a Psycho’, has re-released her single ‘So am I’, this time with the Kpop boy band NCT 127. The 9-member boy band is a sub-group of NCT by SM Entertainment. NCT 127 gives a refreshing short K-pop twist to the great song. The lyric video was released on July 4th, 2019. The lyrics deal with accepting one-self

BTS & Charlie XCX ‘Dream glow’

Dream glow by BTS, the Korean boy group and Charlie XCX, an English singer, song writer & video producer. They have dropped the collaboration of the summer. ‘Dream Glow’ was released under the BTS WORLD (original Soundtrack) album in June 2019. This is the soundtrack for the recently released mobile game, BTS WORLD. The song has a dreamy and summer vibe that will surely be a hit. This song lyrics are as dreamy as its tune as they encourage to keep working hard for your dreams.

BTS & Zara Larsson ‘A brand New Day’

The song by the global boy group BTS and Zara Larsson a Swedish singer and songwriter, known for song hits like ‘Never Forget You’ ‘Lush Life’ among many others released a song this June 2019. The song ‘A brand new Day’ has been released as part of their BTS WORLD (original Soundtrack) album which the soundtrack music for their game BTS WORLD. We are sure that the summer will get even hotter with this hot song collaboration. This song inspirational lyrics deal with taking the life one moment at a time. 

BTS & Juice Wrld ‘All night’

BTS collaborations this summer have exceeded expectations. Juice Wrld, an American rapper known for his single ‘Lucid Dreams’ and ‘Without me’, among others, will join the artists collabing with BTS under the BTS WORLD soundtrack. ‘All Night’ was released on June 2019. The collaboration between the boy band and the rapper is bound to be great. The song has a deep groove and will be undeniably on your top saved songs. 

NCT Dream & HRVY ‘Don’t need your love’

The music video for the synth-pop song ‘Don’t Need Your Love’ was released on June 6th and is past the 9 Million views. NCT dream is a sub-unit of the group NCT. This sub-unit is for members of ages below 19. Currently it consists of 6 members. HRVY is an English social media star, media presenter and singer. This collaboration is certainly youthful, and it is quite refreshing. The song is about the process of leaving someone you no longer love

Monsta X & French Montana ‘Who do you love’

The single was released in June 2019. Monsta X the seven-member south Korean boy group has explored R&B, Trap and Hip-Hop in their previous albums. This single has an EDM and Hip-Hop feel and will remind you of Monsta X charm. French Montana singer, songwriter, producer, rapper and more is known for his amazing songs and collaborations with artists like Jennifer Lopez, Drake, Swae Lee, among others. This song is perfect for a dance night out in the hot summer. There is a hidden sensuality in the song. ‘Who do you Love’ is about the anxiety of not knowing if you are corresponded.
